You Should Know
- Only MarginEdge Admin users can sign up for [me] Card.
- No credit check is performed
- Sign-up must be completed in the web app — it's not available on mobile.
What You'll Need
If you gather the following before you start, sign-up will only take about 5 minutes!
(1) Business information (KYB)
- Company name, address, EIN, and phone number
- Name, address, SSN, phone, and email for the controller or authorized financial representative
- Beneficial ownership info for anyone who owns 25% or more of the company (up to 4 people) — name, address, SSN, phone, and email. You can select "none" if this doesn't apply.
Privacy note: MarginEdge does not store any personally identifiable information (PII) collected during KYB.
(2) Bank account for repayment
- Bank name, routing number, and account number
- Associated account in your accounting system COA for mapping purposes

How to Sign Up
PRO TIP: For the best chance at instant approval, make sure the business address is associated with the EIN provided, and ensure the personal information - iname, address - provided for the controller or beneficial owner matches the driver's license as close as possible. Note that we cannot accept PO Boxes as valid addresses.
1. Log in to MarginEdge and navigate to [me] Card in the left-hand navigation bar.
2. Choose your repayment mode: Company mode (one bank account for all locations) or Individual mode (each location uses its own bank account — note you'll need to complete setup steps for each store separately)
3. Agree to the cardholder agreement, ACH authorization, and e-sign consent.
4. Complete our business information form with your business and representative information.
5. Attach your bank account for repayment
6. Submit. You'll typically be approved immediately or within 1–2 business days if additional verification is needed.
Submitting Documents for Further Review
In some cases, our card processor may be unable to automatically verify the business details or an individual's identity. If that happens, MarginEdge will display the issue in the app and let you know what to upload.
If we can't verify your business details, you may be asked to provide:
- EIN letter
- Bank statement
- Certificate of incorporation
If we can't verify an individual's identity, you may be asked to provide:
- A copy of their driver's license (front & back)
- SSN document
You can upload supporting documents directly in the app. Expect approval within 1–2 business days after submission. You will receive an email from MarginEdge when your application is approved. This usually happens the same day documents are submitted but time may vary.
