How the SmartScale helps

What setup looks like

Before your scale arrives

• Complete a one-time setup scan in the MarginEdge mobile app to load your bottle inventory. 
• Most SKUs are already recognized by our system (80,000+ barcodes; ~90% coverage), but you might need to add details for a few bottles through your Freepour setup scan.

Once your scale arrives

• Connect the scale to Wi-Fi
• Run a quick sync to load your scanned inventory onto the scale
• Start your first inventory: scan, weigh, done!

Purchasing a SmartScale

The Freepour liquor SmartScale is $150 USD / month per location, plus a one-time $250 USD setup fee. ($210 CAD / month per location plus a $350 CAD setup fee)

To purchase the SmartScale:

1. Log in to your MarginEdge app and navigate to Inventory > Liquor SmartScale
2. If you’re a MarginEdge admin or Billing Contact, click to add the subscription to your account
3. Complete checkout and confirm your shipping address

Do I need to change my workflow?

Most likely. Our database covers 80,000+ barcodes and ~90% of typical bars. But after you add it once, you won’t ever have to add it again.  

Is this hard to train staff on?
