File Format & Size Limits for the MarginEdge App

A frequently asked question with the answers rounded up here.

FILE SIZE LIMITS

  • Invoice files uploaded via the [me] mobile app
    • 250 MB
  • Invoice file attachments sent to [me] via email 
    • 25 MB
  • Invoice files uploaded via the Orders screen using the "Attach Invoices" button
    • 500 MB
      • But please, please don't upload one large file that contains multiple unique invoices! Each invoice should be its own unique file.
  • Videos uploaded to your recipe
    • 500 MB
      • Often, especially when dealing with mobile recordings which often record in High Definition, video recordings can exceed this size limit and will need to be "compressed" before they can be submitted.

 

FILE TYPES

Regarding file types, if you do not want to take pictures of your invoices with the MarginEdge app, here are the file types we can accept: JPEG, PNG, CSV and PDF format.

Please send one separate file/document per invoice.
Please DO NOT send links to stored documents or zip files or any other type of compressed file.
