Overview
This page provides a quick way to see which of your inventoried products and recipes are not yet on a count sheet. Here you can easily see which ones they may already be on, and quickly add them to any count sheets that is currently lacking those products or recipes.
NOTE: If your count sheets are set up to receive new products automatically (this is selected at the top of each count sheet), you won't have to visit this page to manage new products. For more on this, visit the article - How do I Set Up my Inventory Count Sheets?
Using this Page
Navigate to this page from the main menu by selecting Inventory > Products.
To help focus on the products you want to find or work with, there are three filters at the top of the page. You can also use the search bar to start typing and find the item you need.
Category Types
This filter allows you to display only those products in one of your category types.
All Products vs New Products
This filter allows you to limit what types of products are shown.
New Products - These are products you purchased and have been flagged 'yes' for inventory but have not yet been assigned to any count sheets.
PROTIP: This is a great thing to spot check once a week to ensure your new products are landing where you want them to!
All Products - Using this selection, you will see all products in the system, regardless of whether they are inventoried or not, and regardless of whether they've been assigned to a count sheet.
Multi-Unit Option
Display Purchased products for this restaurant - If you are part of a multi-unit group, you have the option to turn filter ON to see products purchased by your restaurant, or turn it OFF to see products in all associated restaurants.
Adjusting a Product's Count Sheets
All Count Sheets are displayed here in columns with a "yes" or "no" regarding whether that product or recipe is or is not on the respective count sheet.
To change a product's or recipe's count sheet, select the product using the checkbox as shown in the image below.
The "Update Products" button will become available and you can then select whether you want to "Remove from Inventory" or "Add to a Count Sheet".
REMOVE - If you want to remove the product, you will be asked to confirm this decision with a pop up box.
ADD - To add the product to one or more count sheets, select the desired count sheet. Click "Add to Count Sheet" to save!
Click to add to another count sheet if needed. And if the Count Sheet is Sheet to Shelf, you'll be asked to select which Section is appropriate for this item.
Once you have completed all of your selections, click "Add to Count Sheet" to save!
