You will need to complete work in MarginEdge and Aloha Could (NCR Silver).
In MarginEdge
- Log into MarginEdge (www.marginedge.com). If you have access to multiple locations, check you are in the correct location you want to connect.
- Go to Setup > Integrations and scroll down to "Point of Sale". From the dropdown menu, select “Aloha Cloud (NCR Silver)”. Click “Set up Point of Sale”.
3. Click the "Connect to Aloha Cloud (NCR Silver)" button.
4. Find the unique email address generated for you and note it for your next steps in Aloha Cloud.
In Aloha Cloud (NCR Silver)
- Open a new window/browser and log into your Aloha Cloud (NCR Silver) site using your own credentials.
- Create an account for MarginEdge using the unique XXX@meposlogin.com email shown under the "User Name" line when you clicked Connect to Aloha Cloud (NCR Silver) (Double check the screen shot above if you didn't find it.)
Important:
- Ensure this new account has full access to reports for your restaurant.
- If you are prompted to set up a password, you have the option of setting your own. If you choose not to, our integrations team will generate one for you.
Back In MarginEdge
- Navigate back into Setup > Integrations and under Point of Sale, click to configure Aloha Cloud (NCR Silver), or go back to the page you left open in MarginEdge.
- Enter the same unique email address as the "User Name" and enter password you’ve just created in Aloha Cloud (NCR Silver). If you were not prompted to create a password, put a temporary password in the field and our integrations team will generate a password once the account is set up.
- Enter your "Store Location ID." You may not know this as it's not an obvious or commonly used ID. If you don't know your Store Location ID, just put your location name in this field and we'll replace it with the ID from Aloha Cloud (NCR Silver).
- When finished, click “Save.”
- If you are currently in onboarding and working with an implementation manger, please email onboarding@marginedge.com to confirm you were able to complete these steps. If you are not switching your POS or are not currently in onboarding, please email help@marginedge.com.
Once set up, the process will be completely automated. Your prior day's sales will be sent to the MarginEdge cloud every morning.
