How to Update the Shopify Web Version

If you got a notification like the one below about the API version being out of date, these are the instructions for how to update Shopify’s Webhook.

The notification:

STEPS

  1. Log into Shopify and go to Settings at the bottom left

  2. Go to Apps and Sales Channels.

  1. Click on Develop Apps

  2. Click on the MarginEdge App

  3. Go to Configuration and click Edit.Screenshot 2024-02-01 at 9.43.53 AM.png
  1. Scroll down to Webhook Subscriptions and choose the recommended one from the Shopify Notification.

The notification looks like this, so find the one they say to use:

Choose the right version:

  1. Then click on save
